Innovative design has made the Ware Road Day Centre a landmark in the local community which the local people are proud to use. The distinctive and modern design of the day care centre is signalled by the Iroko timber boarding and Sto rendered facade
The building accommodates treatment rooms, disabled bathrooms, meeting and staff rooms, life skills areas and a full operational kitchen including a feature lounge with dining area.
Ware Road Day Centre has been short listed by SCALA for the 2009 yearbook. Each year SCALA publishes a yearbook containing photographs of around 60 publicly funded schemes and also makes an award to the client and designers of the best building project selected for entry to the Civic Building of the Year Competition
